About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at WSB and Associates.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will lead the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and coordinate transportation projects, including roadways, drainage, and utilities.
  • Collaborate with other groups and disciplines within the company to deliver high-quality projects and exceptional service to our clients.
  • Perform tasks such as design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation.
  • Compile and write technical reports, feasibility studies, letters, memos, and specifications for projects.
  • Assist with proposal development, project budgeting and scheduling, planning activities, and public involvement and presentation opportunities.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3-7 years of experience in transportation/municipal/utility engineering or a related field.
  • The ability to prepare, read, and understand construction plans and technical documents.
  • A functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • A Minnesota PE license or the ability to obtain one within six months (or as soon as eligible).

Estimated salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
