Job Description

Flow Distribution is seeking a skilled Packaging Specialist to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating product filling and packaging daily in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Sample Preparation: Collect and prepare samples for analysis, following established procedures.
  • Quality Control: Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform production decisions.
  • Product Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of new products, laboratory protocols, and procedures.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Regularly clean and maintain lab equipment and facility, and assist with laboratory and equipment cleanup.
  • Inventory Management: Count, sort, label, seal, box, tape, and pack inventory effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate with lab management regarding product or production issues, and maintain open communication throughout the production process.

Requirements:

  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and perform prolonged sitting and standing, as well as repetitive movements.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of experience in filling and packaging, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

Work Environment:

  • Work Schedule: 10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with no weekends
  • Work Location: In-person, at our production facility
