Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, training, and home support. You will work collaboratively with our team, skilled nursing home facility representatives, and dedicated Nephrologists to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and record relevant patient health data in the course of/pre/post hemodialysis treatment
  • Develop and maintain a plan of care that describes interventions to attain expected outcomes
  • Implement and record interventions to attain expected outcomes in EMR
  • Perform laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures and reschedule missed or inadequate laboratory collections
  • Perform clerical tasks in addition to patient care (i.e., filing, inventory management, admission documentation, creating patient charts, etc.)
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude to all patients and colleagues
  • Occasional travel to other nearby locations
  • Medication administration and documentation
Requirements
  • BS/AA/diploma in nursing with at least 12 months of experience (3 months in hemodialysis) preferred
  • Valid RN license
  • Valid drivers license and transportation
  • Ability to travel covering multiple locations
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
