Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineering Department at Ohio University is seeking Adjunct Instructors to teach or co-teach classes for engineering students. Adjunct instructors would normally be hired to teach a specific course for a specific semester, and would receive specific student learning outcomes, instructional materials, and support for the specific course they would be hired to teach.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead class sessions
  • Grade student work
  • Participate in course assessment activities
  • Respond to student questions in a timely manner
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering, science, or technology field (or a similar degree in a related field) by start date
  • Relevant practical experience related to a specific course
