Cashier Associate

Zettler Hardware and Garden is seeking a skilled Cashier to provide exceptional customer service and support our team in delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

• Create a welcoming environment for customers by maintaining a clean and organized front end, including housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Verbally greet all customers and provide assistance with their queries.
• Answer phones promptly and transfer customers to the correct department.
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card, debit card, and house accounts.
• Maintain displays and area around the checkout counter, including stocking and cleaning.
• Understand and perform proper procedures for opening and closing the cash till.
• Assist store staff with other tasks as needed.
• Attend all staff meetings and adhere to store policies and safety standards.

• Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
• Team player with a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
• Good math and cash register skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Highly organized, ability to multi-task with acute attention to detail.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management.
