Leasing Agent

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced leasing agent to join their team at one of their properties in Burnsville, MN. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in leasing, including new leases and lease renewals.

• Ensure model apartments and target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Complete lease forms and collect rental deposits.
• Market the property effectively by answering questions, conducting tours, and promoting community amenities.
• Have a thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and community policies.
• Keep updated informational materials and distribute them to local businesses and apartment locators.
• Regularly "shop" competitive properties and stay knowledgeable about market conditions.
• Conduct outreach marketing at least once per week.
• Develop and maintain an ongoing resident retention program under the direction of the Community Manager.
• Maintain all resident and property files.
• Courteously and efficiently handle resident requests and complaints.

• At least one year of experience in leasing, including new leases and lease renewals.
• Knowledge of fair housing rules and regulations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel.
• Yardi experience is required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
