Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient programs to improve communication abilities.
  • Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust programs as needed to maximize patient progress.
  • Document progress in patient charts and complete necessary notes and charges.
  • Consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding patient placement and treatment.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Masters Degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of South Carolina.
