Job Summary:

Abrazo Scottsdale Campus is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as a Per Diem Days Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the PACU, coordinating care planning with other disciplines as needed.
  • Act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervise other members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN degree.
  • Experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
