Position Overview:
The Clinical Laboratory Assistant II plays a vital role in our operations, responsible for:
  • Collecting, receiving, and processing specimens from both inpatient and outpatient sources for laboratory testing.
  • Communicating effectively with nursing staff regarding patient specimens.
  • Coordinating the referral of specimens to external laboratories.
  • Engaging with physicians, clients, and staff concerning laboratory test referrals.
  • Performing phlebotomy procedures with precision.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months in phlebotomy or a related laboratory field.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for experience.
  • Credentials: Valid Driver's License; preferred certification in Phlebotomy.
