Job Summary: Health Advocates Network is seeking a Psychiatrist to work at a facility in Crescent City, California. This is a registry position with our company.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and document treatment of assigned psychiatric patients.
- Provide diagnosis, prescribe medications, and monitor patients' progress.
- Dictate admission summaries, discharge summaries, and other necessary documentation.
- Communicate with patients' relatives, healthcare proxies, and community psychiatrists as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Psychiatrist within the last 36 months.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- A valid and current CPR card.
- Up-to-date credentials in the state of California.
