Construction Superintendent

At MonteVista Homes, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our new home construction projects.

• Manage home construction to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
• Conduct daily walks of all homes to inspect progress and identify potential issues.
• Schedule and direct the day-to-day construction of each home build, ensuring that all trades and suppliers are on schedule.
• Work with Sales and Customers to foster a positive and customer-centric environment.
• Ensure homes are built with quality and attention to detail, utilizing your personal construction knowledge and quality inspection forms.
• Work with Trades and Subs to provide guidance, support, and education as needed.
• Ensure buyer specifications are being installed per the contract documents.

• Update schedule start dates for variance or shifts, and communicate with all subs and suppliers.
• Ensure materials and suppliers are on schedule for deliveries and that quantities delivered match P.O.'s.
• Log, mark out, and schedule deficiencies to be corrected immediately.

• Publish an accurate global schedule report.
• Maintain a generally clean home inside and out, with homes swept daily by the trades.
• Cover counters and tubs after installation to prevent trade damage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace inside the construction office.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related preferred.
• 4+ years in new home construction or related.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly explain and resolve issues on the job site.
• Strong work ethic and ability to solve problems in the field.

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 estimated total compensation.
