We are seeking a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at the Devereux Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center. About the RoleThis independent contractor position offers a unique blend of professional development and role expansion opportunities within our growing educational services. You will have the chance to work school-based hours while being supported by a strong behavioral team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide school consultation to public and private schools in Delaware and northern Maryland
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior support plans for individual students engaging in high-risk behavior
- Train teachers and paraeducators to implement behavior plans, monitor fidelity of implementation, and track progress
- Give trainings to school-based staff on behavioral interventions
- Provide systems-level consultation to special education programs serving students with intensive needs, working with school leadership to define universal educational practices for autistic support and other specialized settings
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree from a behaviorally-based, accredited college/university in special education, psychology, or a related field
- A current BCBA certification
- A minimum of two years of experience in the direct delivery of behavior analytic services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders/behavioral challenges as a BCBA, with at least one year of experience consulting/working within a school (preferred)
