Job Title: Assistant Wrestling Coach

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Wrestling Coach to join our team at Lincoln High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in developing and implementing a comprehensive wrestling program that promotes student-athlete growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Coach in developing and implementing a wrestling program that aligns with the school's mission and values.
  • Cooperate with the building Principal and Athletic Director to ensure a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the community.
  • Organize and lead coaching staff to achieve program goals.
  • Attend league, conference, and WVSSAC meetings to stay informed about policies and best practices.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.
  • Motivate staff and players to achieve desired goals and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Professional licensure and experience in coaching wrestling or a related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, Athletic Director, and other staff members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
  • Knowledge of wrestling techniques and strategies.
Working Conditions:

The Assistant Wrestling Coach will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, Athletic Director, and other staff members to achieve program goals.
