Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the integrity and performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Debugging Expertise: Proficient in utilizing logging tools such as Splunk or Kibana, or through command line interfaces to identify and resolve issues swiftly.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Experience in guiding team members and managing the distribution of tasks effectively, akin to a program manager's role.
  • JIRA Proficiency: Familiarity with JIRA for raising and tracking tickets is essential.
  • Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of database commands to extract necessary information.
  • Messaging Queue Familiarity: Basic knowledge of messaging systems like ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
  • Cloud Technology Awareness: Basic understanding of cloud services such as AWS and containerization is advantageous.
  • Networking Fundamentals: Knowledge of networking concepts including packet captures, DHCP, ports, and OSI model layers is required (certification not mandatory).
  • Automation Potential: While automation is not currently in practice, the ability to adapt to future automation initiatives is a plus.
Required Skills

MUST HAVE: Networking knowledge (DHCP, ports, routers, modems, wireless technologies, etc.) and a minimum of 2 years of manual testing experience.
