Job Summary:

The Commercial Banking Director at b1BANK is responsible for leading a team of commercial bankers in building the bank's commercial loan business within a designated market area. The Director provides client consultation and operational guidance to commercial bankers, manages a loan portfolio, and handles complex loan packages. This position requires strategic decision-making, problem-solving, and collaboration with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Solicit commercial loans and deposit relationships for the bank
Inform prospective clients of underwriting guidelines and government regulations
Evaluate and negotiate loan requests, making recommendations to management
Communicate complex approvals or denials to borrowers
Market the bank's ancillary products and services to clients
Manage client banking accounts throughout the relationship

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
3-5 years of experience in commercial banking
Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures
Strong sales, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong financial and analytical skills
