Job Summary:

The Food Manufacturing Production Associate will be responsible for ensuring the preparation, cooking, and packaging of consumable raw ingredients for a frozen finished product. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and off-loading manufacturing machines
  • Using a pallet jack to transport and record raw ingredients and materials
  • Learning and applying expert knowledge for compliance with FDA Good Manufacturing Principles (GMPs), Bellisio Safety Standards, and OSHA Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) equipment standard
  • Relieving for break, rotation, and/or reassignment of fellow coworkers
  • Ensuring area is clean and free of debris or hazards
  • Serving as back-up for operator when needed
  • Reporting unsafe acts, conditions, and/or injuries
  • Reporting observations of any adverse food safety and food quality conditions
  • Completing light administrative compliance paperwork
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to stand 8-10 hours per day
  • Able to bend or lift 8-10 hours per day
  • Able to lift 25 to 35 pounds repetitively
  • Able to lift 50 to 75 pounds repetitively (Prep areas specifically)
  • Able to do repetitive wrist motions/demonstrate good range of motion in wrists
  • Able to wear rubberized personal protective equipment
