Residential Behavioral Health Supervisor

The Residential Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Training and overseeing direct care staff to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, licensing regulations, and the mission, vision, and values of Newport Healthcare.
- Assisting in daily task management and upholding high job performance standards.
- Overseeing staff schedules, approving time off, and ensuring accurate timecard submissions.
- Leading monthly direct care staff meetings to deliver training, review protocols, and improve daily operations.
- Providing direct client support through daily interactions, supervision, active program participation, and addressing individual needs.
- Providing on-call support as per the weekly rotation schedule.
- Participating in weekly Treatment Team Meetings and relaying important information to direct care staff.
- Conducting non-clinical groups and supervising client activities.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A bachelor's degree in human services, counseling, psychology, education, criminal justice, or social work (preferred).
- At least one year of experience working with adolescents/young adults and families in a mental healthcare setting.
- At least one year of experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role (preferred).
- A valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving the company's vehicles.
- Completion of CPI and CPR training within the first 30 days.
