Role Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality computed tomography imaging in alignment with established standards and practices.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Supervisor and Director of Outpatient Imaging.
Employment Classification:
Non-exempt
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Must hold AZ MRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist and Certified Computed Tomography Technologist. The original certificate must be presented at the facility prior to starting employment.
Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T. (R), (CT) is mandatory.
Skills Required:
This role necessitates strong critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to operate independently. Candidates must be adept at functioning in high-pressure environments and responding appropriately to various situations.
Experience:
Prior experience in a hospital setting, specifically in CT, is preferred.
