Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and promoting our resort's amenities and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services
    • Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression of our resort.
    • Assist guests with arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
    • Provide accurate information about our resort's amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Process guest registrations, including inputting and retrieving information from our computer system.
    • Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization.
    • Handle cash, make change, and balance the front desk bank.
  • Communication
    • Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
    • Input messages into our computer system and retrieve messages for guests.
  • Problem-Solving
    • Field guest complaints and resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.
    • Listen actively and respond to guest concerns with empathy and understanding.
  • Teamwork
    • Collaborate with other front office staff to ensure seamless operations.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience
    • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
