Position Summary: The Machine Operator specializing in Bending will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on assigned machinery. This role involves bending pipe and tubing materials for various applications, including pipe fabrication, coils, heat exchangers, railings, and other metal assemblies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred prior experience in a metal fabrication environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-speed setting while adhering to safety protocols
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, manuals, and work orders
  • Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Skilled in using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
  • Intermediate mathematical skills
  • Familiarity with hand tools, air tools, and power tools
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
