RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical members of our solution teams operate with minimal supervision, yet possess a strong desire to learn, collaborate, and solve problems. This role requires a mid to senior level of expertise, a commitment to developing solutions, and a keen interest in addressing our clients' most challenging technical and data-related issues.

The Application Software Engineer will be tasked with the following:
  • Assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software systems
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions under the guidance of senior team members
  • Ensure adherence to software design, development, testing, integration, and sustainment standards
  • Investigate technology solutions, prioritize tasks, and work to resolve issues based on client and business needs
  • Guarantee that products are engineered for scalability, robustness, maintainability, and interoperability
  • Establish, implement, and promote Development Best Practices
QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
  • TS/SCI clearance required
  • 5+ years of experience with Python or other programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, GoLang)
  • Preferred candidates will have experience with Pytorch and supporting machine learning initiatives
  • Experience with API design and implementation
  • Experience developing data solutions with RDBMS (e.g. PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis)
  • Experience supporting code reviews
  • Experience with Cloud Providers (AWS, GCP, and Azure), preferably AWS
  • Experience working in a dynamic agile environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Git version control systems
  • Experience working in Linux environments
  • Knowledge of front-end development using JavaScript, React, or Angular
  • Familiarity with microservices design and development patterns
  • Familiarity with one or more Configuration Management Tools, such as Chef or Ansible
  • Familiarity with container-based applications (Docker, OpenShift) and Kubernetes management
