About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Staff to join our team at the Jewish Community Center of Staten Island.

Job Summary

This part-time position involves maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our fitness and pool areas. As a Night Shift Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean and safe for our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep and mop floors in the fitness and pool areas
  • Pull trash, clean, and replace liners in pails
  • Clean sinks, water fountains, and other high-touch areas
  • Dust window sills and ledges
  • Restock paper products and soap
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all bathrooms and locker rooms
  • Report any safety hazards to your supervisor
  • Perform exterior ground cleaning
  • Vacuum and high dust vents, ledges, and handrails
  • Sanitize areas as needed
  • Assist with setup and breakdown for functions
Requirements
  • Experience cleaning commercial buildings
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17 per hour, paid on a part-time schedule of 4pm to 12am.
