About the Job

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Frozen Clerk, you will be the face of our frozen foods department, and your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be crucial in maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and friendly customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Rotate and replenish merchandise, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to customers.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the department, including sweeping and mopping floors, and checking temperatures of cases.
  • Work effectively with co-workers to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including ordering product and supplies, and assisting with inventory.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a register.

Working Conditions

This role is continually exposed to noise, temperature extremes, and dampness. There is frequent exposure to equipment movement hazards. This is a fast-paced work environment with significant pressure.
