Excela Health is seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive diagnostic testing using cardiac ultrasound to provide data to physicians for diagnosis and treatment of heart disorders.

• Acquire all images required by echo protocol for a complete (2D, Doppler, and Color Flow) and follow-up transthoracic echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram, and stress echo.
• Introduce yourself to patients and explain the test, ensuring they are comfortable and engaged throughout the process.
• Conduct technical aspects of the test according to protocol, documenting all pertinent data in the medical record.
• Maintain a high level of productivity, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
• Ensure adequate supplies are maintained in the department and record services provided for verification and statistical purposes.
• Clean and maintain all equipment, including TEE probes, according to protocol.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Ultrasound or Echocardiography Program.
• One or more years of recent experience in echo or recent graduate of an accredited program in echocardiography.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment.
• Basic working knowledge of computers and office equipment.

• Fully trained in all aspects of echocardiography.
• ARDMS Registered or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program.
• DMS Certified Echo Tech or Equivalent.
