Hillsboro School District is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodian Night Lead to join our Facilities Management team. As a key member of our custodial team, you will be responsible for leading the night crew and ensuring the overall care of our buildings and grounds.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Direct, coordinate, and participate in the cleaning, repairing, and maintenance of District buildings, grounds, and heating/cooling plants.
  • Lead the work of the night crew and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the overall care of the buildings and grounds, including but not limited to, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with District policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in the use of computer and Internet-based applications.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Basic knowledge of custodial equipment and procedures.
  • Knowledge of custodial work, including the use of cleaning methods and materials.
  • Ability to work from heights of up to 30 feet.
