ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, as well as PET/CT procedures, in accordance with state regulations and under the guidance of physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT scans
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including NRC and state licenses
  • Comply with JCAHO regulations and department protocols
  • Perform accurate dose calculations and transmit high-quality images to the PACS system
  • Assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Licensed by the State of Delaware Authority on Radiation Protection and/or State of Maryland
  • BLS certification
