Responsibilities

  • Implement care plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist to ensure effective patient outcomes.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance their overall well-being.
  • Provide patient care under the direction of the therapist, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Support therapists in conducting medical imaging assessments to inform treatment plans.
  • Work in various healthcare settings, including outpatient clinics, occupational health centers, skilled nursing facilities, and acute care hospitals.

Requirements

  • Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
  • Experience or familiarity with patient care in different healthcare settings.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients.

Lake Worth Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing center that offers in-patient residential care, short-term rehabilitation, and specialty services. Our property features private and semi-private rooms, landscaped grounds, 7-day per week admissions, and rehabilitation gym with 7-day per week therapy. We accept a wide variety of insurance plans and strive to create positive outcomes for our patients.

Up to $76,960.00 per year.
