Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in the design and development of electrical control systems for advanced packaging machinery. You will work closely with management to ensure the successful execution of projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems for packaging machinery.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics utilizing AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Develop layouts for electrical enclosures using CAD tools.
  • Compile Bills of Materials for machine controls through ERP systems.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits.
  • Integrate various automation systems, including inkjet and robotic technologies.
  • Program machine control components, including PLCs and HMIs.
  • Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
  • Assist in the development of machine manuals and quotations.
  • Provide technical support to assembly and sales teams as necessary.
  • Communicate project progress and customer expectations effectively to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with electronic testing equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming is essential.
  • Experience in designing and troubleshooting industrial equipment with electro-mechanical components.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent software for electrical design.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to adapt to new software and technologies as required.
  • A collaborative mindset and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience, including internships or co-op positions.
