Dishwasher / Steward

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher / Steward to join our team at Embassy Suites Winston Salem. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our restaurant, bar, and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Sanitation
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, plates, flatware, and glasses
  • Wash and put away dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized
• Customer Service
  • Welcome and seat guests, serve beverages, and deliver food
  • Present menus and take orders
  • Assist with serving and clearing tables
• Support Functions
  • Stock and maintain supplies, including linens, utensils, and condiments
  • Assist with sweeping, mopping, and polishing the restaurant and kitchen areas
  • Transport used linen to or from the laundry or housekeeping section

Requirements

• Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
• Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk during entire shift
  • Physical, intensive work requiring up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
