Clinical Dietitian - Outpatient Nutrition

Job Summary:

Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Outpatient Nutrition team. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based nutritional therapy to patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans, and educating patients and families on healthy eating habits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and monitor patient progress
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics
  • Conduct group classes and workshops on nutrition-related topics
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical nutrition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
