Overview:

The Front Office Technology division plays a crucial role in supporting the trading and sales teams within the Rates and Credit sectors of the organization. This role is pivotal in the development of innovative systems, including the launch of new financial products and various strategic initiatives. The team operates within a robust and mature ecosystem that integrates Ion with a comprehensive suite of development tools and a substantial codebase in Java. The Front Office Technology group, consisting of 12 professionals, is responsible for numerous essential processes across the front office, with Ion serving as the primary trading platform. This encompasses the onboarding and support of sales and trading personnel, as well as the maintenance and enhancement of trading systems.

Required Skills:
Experience in fixed income is mandatory, particularly in bond analytics, treasury notes, and futures.
  • Extensive Java expertise and experience with continuous integration
  • Proficient in server-side Java programming
  • Development experience with Spring framework, Camel, and RESTful services
  • SQL proficiency: Postgres, Sybase, Snowflake
  • Experience with ION development
  • Familiarity with build and delivery tools such as Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, and Puppet
  • Knowledge of messaging systems including LBM, Lightstreamer, and MQ
  • Understanding of FIX protocol
  • Experience with AWS is a plus
