Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team at Freedom Forever. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the direction of an experienced Electrician to perform installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Installation: Assist with safely planning and completing Main Panel Upgrades (MPU) and other electrical system installations.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues and ensure work performed is of good craftsmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes.
  • Project Documentation: Document project progress by taking photos and completing work orders.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain Company vehicle stocked with proper tools and equipment.
  • Adherence to Company Policies: Maintain adherence to Company policies, environmental health and safety policies, and good housekeeping practices.
Qualification Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Must possess or obtain an Apprentice License within the state of employment if applicable. Minimum 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience preferred. High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Experience: Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to effectively manage work to achieve required timelines. Must be experienced with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade. Ability to read and interpret single line drawings. Must maintain a clean driving record and valid state driver's license.
Physical Demands and Abilities
  • Physical Abilities: Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Stand for long periods of time. Walk or run for long periods of time. Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles. Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl. Bend, stretch, twist, or reach out. Repeat the same movements. See details of objects that are less than a few feet away. Determine the distance between objects. Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects. Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls. Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm. Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects. Understand the speech of another person. Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects. See differences between colors, shades, and brightness. Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place. Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tired. Keep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable position. React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet. While looking forward, see objects or movements that are off to the side. Lift 50+ pounds.
