Job Title: Radiologic Technologist I

OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work under supervision to deliver cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures, correlating clinical history with the procedures ordered.
  • Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Operate specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform a range of diagnostic, interventional, or surgical procedures.
  • Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure all required elements are completed and documented.
  • Transfer images and data, enter technical data/findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
  • Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance according to guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain competencies and improve care and treatment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program in cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, handle confidential information with discretion, multi-task in stressful situations, and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
