Job Title: Construction Supervisor Lead

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor Lead to join our team at Zero Impact Builders. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems for commercial and enterprise clients.

About the Job:
  • Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
  • Location: California
  • Job Type: Full-time

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including EV Charging solutions, Fleet Electrification, Solar Micro-grids, Energy storage, Hydroponic farming, and Rain Water/Grey Water collection systems. Our company operates under several government rebate programs, ensuring a steady and reliable flow of revenues.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of construction professionals to ensure timely completion of projects
  2. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine layout of equipment installations
  3. Supervise and manage trenching for utility conduits, directing operators on backhoes, backfilling, and underground scanning
  4. Supervise and manage pouring and finishing concrete pads for switchgear, Electrical Chargers, Bollards, directing paving, and overhead EMT conduit placement
  5. Supervise and manage Electrical resources on the job
  6. Arrange and coordinate safety meetings
  7. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members
  8. Be the point of contact with the employer's site superintendent
  9. Supervise and train apprentices on the job as required
  10. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements
  11. Controlling inventory on truck, job-site, and in/out of stock (for active jobs)
  12. Organize and maintain material lists for your team
  13. Gathering required material
  14. Responsible for maintaining company tools
  15. Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean
  16. Work with building principals and supervisors to complete projects
  17. Respond to emergency calls as needed
  18. Updating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties
  19. Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times
  20. Take AHJ inspections and follow up with the utilities
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision or a related field
  • Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
