Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Altru Health System. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and comfort during radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Hold a valid ND Medical Imaging License prior to start date.
    • Obtain certification as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) within 6 months of start.
    • Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of start date.
  • Job Details
    • Work Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM, with no weekend shifts.
    • Duration: 13 weeks.
  • Job Requirements
    • Perform all radiographic procedures and monitor patients.
    • Review images for quality and completeness according to standard operating procedures.
    • Prepare and administer IV and oral contrast under the direction of a Radiologist/Radiologist Assistant.
    • Provide individualized patient care and comfort essential to the procedure.
    • Ensure prior images are available and complete all Epic Processes.
    • Perform pain assessment and take appropriate action according to standard operating procedure.
  • Education and Experience
    • ND Medical Imaging License required prior to start date.
    • Certification as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) within 6 months of start.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of start date.
