Music Instructor Opportunity

Outreach Development Corp. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Music Instructor to join our Adolescent Residential facility team. As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing music-related recreational activities for residents, promoting their musical growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead music-based indoor recreational activities for residents, tailored to their needs and interests
  • Plan and prepare music lessons, incorporating music theory, aural skills, and practical techniques
  • Motivate and encourage residents to progress in their musical abilities
  • Maintain open communication with program management, providing feedback and documentation as needed
  • Ensure the maintenance and security of all music equipment

Requirements:

  • Ability to play one or more musical instruments
  • Experience or training in music therapy or music instruction
  • Experience working with adolescents, a plus
