Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of customer vehicles.
  • Diagnose necessary repairs and maintenance services.

  • Provide accurate estimates for repair costs.
  • Execute vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Document all services performed on vehicles.
  • Adhere to dealership and manufacturer service protocols.
  • Request and manage parts inventory as needed.
  • Follow all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with automotive technology advancements.
  • Keep the service department organized and efficient.
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Service Manager.

Qualifications

A. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

B. Physical Requirements: Must be in good physical condition, capable of lifting up to 60 pounds occasionally. The role involves frequent bending, lifting, pushing, standing, and walking.

C. Working Conditions: Must be prepared to work in varying temperatures and humidity levels. Exposure to mechanical and electrical hazards, as well as fumes and dust, may occur.

D. Licenses: A valid driver's license is mandatory.

E. Additional Requirements: ASE certification is preferred. A strong motivation to learn and succeed is essential, along with the ability to comprehend technical instructions and a solid understanding of vehicle mechanics.
