Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a dishwasher and busser at Brick Pizzeria & Ristorante, a leading company in the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, food preparation equipment, and utensils.
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking during non-peak hours, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Load and unload trucks delivering or picking up food and supplies, adhering to company procedures and safety protocols.
  • Receive and store supplies, including food and utensils, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Maintain kitchen floor work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • Ensure the back dock and dumpster areas are free from debris, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies, ordering and restocking as needed.
  • Mop walk-in cooler nightly, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Set up and close down dish machine according to company procedures, ensuring efficient and effective operation.
  • Complete daily cleaning checklist at shift end, ensuring a thorough and accurate cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements and Expectations
  • Arrive at least 5 minutes before scheduled time, ensuring promptness and reliability.
  • Wear clean clothing to work, maintaining a professional and clean appearance.
  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff members, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Properly wash and sanitize glassware, dishware, and plateware, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Use caution to avoid breaking materials, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Complete 'Dish' opening/closing checklist, ensuring a thorough and accurate cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Detail dish machine and polish on Sundays, maintaining a clean and shiny appearance.
