Riverside Research Institute is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at the Radar Assessment and Development Lab (RAD Lab) in Centreville, VA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual to develop solutions for our Collection Orchestration Planning Suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, engineering-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop system architectures for new features and capabilities
  • Collaborate with the development team to execute designs and find innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Perform technical data analysis for large-scale GEOINT systems
  • Investigate and root-cause analyze system and software performance anomalies
  • Assist with system modernization and architecture studies
  • Provide test support, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), algorithm prototyping, and simulation
  • Work across multiple agencies and stakeholders to develop solutions and build consensus
Requirements
  • TS/SCI ability to obtain and submit to CI Poly
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or comparable technical field
  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a Master's degree
  • Solid understanding of Satellite Mission Planning functionality, performance limitations, and mission support requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage customer relationships and identify emerging opportunities
  • Experience working with.NET, Java, C#, Python applications
  • Proficient knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Databases, and Web/Cloud applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with active CI Poly
  • Master's Degree in Systems Engineering or comparable technical field
  • Demonstrated experience with Object-Oriented Programming, Databases, and Web/Cloud applications
  • Dev/Sec/Ops Experience
  • Business Development Experience
  • Project Leadership Experience
  • GEOINT, MASINT Experience
  • Space Situational Awareness Experience

$106,000 - $165,000
