Overview

UPP Global is a dynamic and expanding full-service parking management organization with expertise across various sectors of parking. We are actively engaged in multiple states along the Eastern Seaboard, managing over 300 locations and growing. We are currently seeking an Evening Hotel Parking Attendant who is available for evening shifts, including a mix of weekdays and weekends (Hours from 3pm to 11pm) at a prestigious hotel in a vibrant downtown area.

Position Highlights

  • Compensation: Earn between $18 - $25/hour, which includes a base hourly wage and generous cash tips. Refer to the benefits package at the end of this posting.
  • Flexible Scheduling: We understand that you have commitments; applicants seeking either full-time or part-time roles are encouraged to apply. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule based on staffing needs.
  • Career Advancement: Dedicated valet attendants who deliver outstanding guest service and consistently represent the company and client professionally will find that leadership opportunities are available in a matter of months.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests warmly, assist with inquiries, and guide them to check-in.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with all guests, colleagues, and clients.
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality services to all guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Safely park and retrieve guests' vehicles promptly, navigating areas with heightened risk of damage.
  • Assist guests with bell services, directions, and information about hotel amenities.
  • Help guests with luggage during their arrival and departure.
  • Transport guests using the hotel shuttle service.
  • Communicate parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and maintain best practices in security and safety.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, run, drive, and remain active throughout the shift.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination is essential for driving.
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Professional appearance in accordance with uniform guidelines.
  • Minimum age of 18 and willingness to undergo background checks.
  • Familiarity with manual transmission is a plus, but not required upon hire.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
