Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Rhode Island Medical Imaging. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing and ensuring the quality of MRI scans, interacting with patients and healthcare professionals, and maintaining a smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and handle patient films and files with care and attention to detail.
  • Determine the most effective approach to provide requested studies based on each case's specific requirements.
  • Interact effectively with patients, referring physicians, and staff to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
  • Compile and interpret data to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and protocols to provide the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and care.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration and MR certification are required.
  • IV experience is necessary.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese are preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and position patients and supplies up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a Zone 3 and Zone 4 environment.
