Chief Nursing Officer Opportunity

Connections Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to join our client's team in a dynamic healthcare facility located on the TX and Arkansas border.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a patient-focused, team-oriented culture that delivers superior service and outstanding outcomes. This will involve collaborating with medical, clinical, and therapeutic disciplines to develop patient care programs, policies, and procedures that meet the needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement patient care programs, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with medical, clinical, and therapeutic disciplines to foster a patient-focused culture
  • Represent nursing on various committees, including the Governing Body, Quality Council, and Infection Control Committee
  • Support cultural diversity and maintain an inclusive work environment
  • Cultivate an environment that empowers the hospital to fulfill its mission
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to possess a current RN licensure, BLS certification, and a minimum of five years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting. Additionally, the candidate should have two years of recent nursing management experience, with responsibilities including FTE management, policy, procedure, and budgetary oversight.
