About the Role
We are seeking an Agronomy Intern to join our team at GROWMARK. As an Agronomy Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in agronomy and develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general agronomy functions and provide support to the Sales/Marketing Manager.
- Visit FS locations and customers to build professional relationships and coordinate communication with multi-site contacts.
- Schedule field activities and carry out projects, including operating field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology for scouting.
- Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair, and gain understanding and experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree or certification from a community college, technical college, or university and in good academic standing.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
- Frequently required to lift 51-70 pounds as needed, and potentially exposed to extreme weather conditions.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
