We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as an Operating Room Circulator at Piedmont Newton Hospital. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the flow of patients through the operating rooms, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare patients for procedures, including conducting pre-operative assessments and implementing care plans.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment in the operating rooms, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize operational efficiency.
- Graduate of a nursing program with a current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred, with advanced certification in the field of specialty (if applicable).
