Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at teKnoluxion, you'll have the opportunity to make an immediate and direct impact in your job. You'll join a sophisticated enterprise exploitation environment and work collaboratively with stakeholders, development, and product teams to understand operational product requirements, feature specifications, architecture, CM, and testing processes.

  • Kubernetes Platform Infrastructure
    • Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Platform Infrastructure, including but not limited to producing and maintaining functional Kubernetes Infrastructure as Code according to consumer needs based on ticket requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, development, and product teams to understand operational product requirements, feature specifications, architecture, CM, and testing processes.
  • Time Management and Forecasting
    • Manage time for assigned tasks to ensure progression/status updates and provide Level of Effort (LOE) forecasting with stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Research
    • Understand and assist with documenting implementation requirements definition fulfillment, prior to execution of ticket.
    • Research and study trends with relevant tools and technologies from the industry and Agency.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Participate in team code reviews, cross-training, brainstorming, sprint review/demo, sprint planning sessions.
  • Implementation Documentation
    • Create and maintain clear and concise implementation documentation and SOPs.
  • Bug Reporting and Feature Proposals
    • Report bugs and new feature proposals to the CCB.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) Application Development and Administration.
  • Containerization skills.
  • Linux (RHEL) Administration, including storage and interface management, hardening, patching, and bash scripting.
  • Ansible or similar automation technologies for configuration management, maintenance, and deployment of operating systems and applications.
  • Virtualization/VMware experience.
  • Cloud-Providers (AWS, AZURE or similar).
  • Microservices knowledge.
  • Terraform experience.
  • Go programming language skills.
  • Python programming language skills.
  • Familiarity with GitLab or similar.
  • Familiarity with Helm Charts.
  • Strong communication skills, self-starter, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
