About the Position

This position is located at a Military Treatment Facility under the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The Audiologist will be responsible for providing diagnostic and treatment services to patients with hearing and balance disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including hearing tests and balance assessments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with hearing and balance disorders.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on audiological care and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in audiology and hearing science.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Audiologist in the state where the position is located.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
