About the PositionThis position is located at a Military Treatment Facility under the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The Audiologist will be responsible for providing diagnostic and treatment services to patients with hearing and balance disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including hearing tests and balance assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with hearing and balance disorders.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on audiological care and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in audiology and hearing science.
- Master's or doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Audiologist in the state where the position is located.
- Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
