Key Responsibilities of a Facility Sanitation Specialist:
- Ensure cleanliness of all floor areas through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Adhere to guidelines for the application of cleaning agents and equipment to avoid damage to surfaces and furnishings.
- Maintain and sanitize restrooms, fitting rooms, hallways, and entry points.
- Dispose of waste properly, utilizing compactors for specific materials.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors with suitable cleaning solutions and tools.
- Perform spot cleaning on carpets and assist with deep cleaning and shampooing tasks.
- Restock paper products and hygiene supplies as needed.
- Follow the established cleaning schedule diligently.
- Occasionally operate heavy-duty cleaning machinery, such as floor scrubbers and backpack vacuums.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned based on operational requirements or client requests.
Qualifications for Success:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Dependability is essential.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a drug screening may be required in certain situations.
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is advantageous.
Position Details:
- Part-Time Employment
- Flexible Schedule: Sunday to Saturday
- Approximately 30 hours per week
