Experience a diverse range of cases with over 40,000 visits to U.S. Army medical facilities and clinics globally each day. Encounter and study unique diseases that are seldom seen in civilian practice, and contribute to the development of vaccines for impactful viruses such as Zika and COVID-19.

Reduced Constraints:
Practice medicine with minimal restrictions, focusing on patient care rather than their financial capacity. The U.S. Army Medical Department prioritizes comprehensive patient care above all else.

SKILLS YOU WILL DEVELOP:

  • 52 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.

EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS:
The Post-9/11 GI Bill:
This program offers substantial educational support, covering full college tuition, housing, and books, with payments made directly to the institution.

The Montgomery GI Bill – Active Duty:
This option combines personal contributions and government funding to provide education benefits for up to 36 months, with payments made directly to the service member.

The Montgomery GI Bill – Selected Reserve:
This program assists Army Reserve and National Guard members in funding education benefits for a maximum of 36 months, contingent upon a six-year service commitment.
