Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Finance department of our resort. This position is essential for overseeing financial operations that support the overall functioning of the resort and assisting the VP of Finance with various ongoing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    Prepare, review, and distribute monthly Profit and Loss statements. Collaborate with budget managers to analyze results and prepare a consolidated reporting package for senior leadership, including insightful commentary.
  • Management Support:
    Lead monthly financial review meetings and participate in the financial soft close process. Work closely with the accounting team on necessary adjustments and general accounting processes.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Facilitate the annual planning and budgeting process, develop and enhance financial reporting tools, and analyze variances from forecasted plans, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis:
    Conduct financial analyses to support budget owners and senior leaders in corporate initiatives and business development efforts. Engage in industry benchmarking and perform ad hoc financial modeling as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis and leadership roles.

Physical Requirements:
This role may involve sedentary work, with the ability to move freely and manage paperwork. Occasional lifting of items up to 35 lbs may be required. The work environment is primarily indoors, with potential exposure to snow and ice conditions.

Judgment and Complexity:
The position requires moderate to complex judgment and mental agility.
