Position Summary:

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Receiving Specialist is responsible for loading and unloading materials within the production area, ensuring they are placed in designated storage locations or staging areas. This role involves utilizing various handling equipment, including hand trucks, forklifts, and hoists, to efficiently move materials between trucks and the receiving area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and organize daily workflow between the receiving department and production floor.
  • Assist in receiving inbound deliveries, conducting inspections, and performing other necessary tasks.
  • Manage return shipments to suppliers or customers.
  • Sort, count, and log received inventory accurately.
  • Conduct daily inventory reconciliations, including physical counts and tracking.
  • Enter inventory transactions into the company database and process item pulls and returns.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Production teams to stage jobs effectively.
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting received products for damage or missing components.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow established departmental policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in UPS World Ship and small packaging/shipping.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years of relevant warehouse experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
